Yesterday, Daniel and I went to the Big E.  Before the Big E, we met my parents at my Uncle Hal's house.  It was good to see my Uncle Hal and my Aunt Debbie.  We had a wonderful time at the Big E with my family.  It was also nice to see the Welch family for a little while.  Josiah and Mr. Welch went on the Big Drop ride.  They're crazy!!!

They were all on top of Daniel at one point, but I missed that picture.  Thankfully no one got hurt :-)  It was all in fun.

On Saturday, we had a teen activity at our home.  The kids ate lunch, played wiffle ball, had dessert, bobbed for apples, had a water fight and then played basketball to try to dry off :-) We had a lot of fun.  We had a couple of kids from our neighborhood join us for wiffle ball and dessert.  We are going to pray for them and hopefully be able to minister to them at some point.

Yard Sale

I love shopping at yard sales.  On Saturday, Mom and I stopped at this one yard sale where I got all of these wooden toys.  I thought it was a cool find.

Going apple picking





Mom came to stay with us for two days.  :-) I was SSOOOO happy to have her here.  We had so much fun doing everything.  On Friday we went to a tea room for lunch, visited with the O'Lone's at their farm, went to Bugaboo Creek Steak House for dinner, then some shopping for fun.  On Saturday we rose early.  We did our devotions together and talked for a while. (I like the time I get to just talk to my mom) Then off we went to the Portsmouth farmers market.  After the farmers market I decided to drive mom around Portsmouth and Newcastle for a little while.  It's so beautiful in those areas. We finished our visit together by going apple picking.  Then she had to go home :-(
