Progress on the House

This was the first weekend since we closed on the house that we were able to work on it. We were able to clean a lot and gut the downstairs bathroom. Fun stuff. The downstairs bathroom is the first big project that we are working on. One room at a time :-) Hopefully in a couple of weeks it will be completed and we can move to the next room. On Friday, I was able to go to the house and clean the kitchen from top to bottom. I had a lot of fun. I put a rug in front of the sink to make it feel a little homey, even though we don't have anything in the house. I did all of that cleaning on Friday ,then on Saturday the Lord blessed us with a full kitchen set (kitchen cabinets and real granite counter top). There has to be some altering to the kitchen before the set can go in. But in time it will be awesome. Maybe that will be our next big room to complete. This is all so exciting.

A Big Really Long Day

Yesterday was a big day for Daniel and I. On my way to NH for the closing of our house, I picked up a rocking chair for our house. Unfortunetly, I forgot to take a picture of it. :-) Mom, Dad and the boys came up to see the house. I was so happy they could come. Daniel and I closed on our house in the afternoon. It was a little rocky, but the Lord got us through. Now we can't wait to get working on our house (that is so much fun saying "our house"). After the closing, we went to pick up a dining room set and a little shelf/cabinet we found on craigslist. And to wrap the day up, we did our taxes.

Joseph Trapp

Joe Trapp really likes big trucks. Daniel let Joe drive around the parking lot of the church in his truck. Joe had a good time. Joe and Daniel are good friends :-).

Having Fun with Gracie

Last weekend, we were able to spend time with Jake Lauren and Gracie. We enjoyed spending time with them.
